Mudivil Oru Aarambam at Alliance Française (Hidden Truth)
The contemporary dance dramaMudivil Oru Aarambam (Hidden Truth)choreographed by Shyamjith
Kiran, examines the aspirations of young dancers, who pursue a career in dance for different reasons. As
they grow, as dancers and as human beings, the three friends confront corruption and a lack of
understanding, they see indifference to the beauty and spiritual wealth inherent in the arts; they face the
difficulties of making a living without losing their souls.
How these three young men and their friends find a path through the often sterile wilderness of modern
urban life is the substance of this fascinating and beautifully structured production.
Will their ideals survive? Will their dreams overcome the obstacles they face? Will they hold on to
their vision of their art?
The dance drama will be staged on Saturday, 21st November 2009, at 6.30 p.m at AFM Auditorium,
College Road (opposite Good Shepherd College)
Tickets for the performance is priced at Rs. 200/-.
