The music concerts during Gokulaxhtami Sangeetha Utsavam are dedicated to Legendary
G.N.Balasubramaniam in his birth centenary year. The particulars of the concerts to be held this

Satrangi has built a very good name for their melodious rendering of Hindi songs of yester years.
Satrangi’s next musical program is titled ‘ Romantic Stars – Rishi and Zeenat” and it will be held
on 19th September, at Chinmaya Heritage Centre, Chetpet, from 6.30 pm onwards.
Singers for the program are Pramod, Tagore & Jaya. Tickets are priced Rs.500, 300 & 200. The

This is a contest among the best bands in the cities of Chennai, Bangalore and Kochi
organized by Unwind Centre. While the best bands of Bangalore and Kochi have been
announced, the Chennai prelims will take place on Septembver 18 at Unwind Centre,
Adyar. Then, the three city battle of the bands will take place on September 19, at 5
pm, at Bucks Theatre, YMCA, Nandanam. Passes for students (with id cards) at Rs.100
and for the others at Rs.150 are available at all Unwind Centers and the venue. Call

The 29 year old Rotary Club of Ambattur brings you the Dandiya Darbar for the eighth year in a
row in what is billed as a bigger and better version. It will be held on Saturday, 19th September
at 7.30 pm at Taj Coromandel.
This fun filled event is in aid of the Community service projects of the Club. The Rhythmic and foot
tapping music by the popular Viju Shah’s Sur Sangamam orchestra will waft in the hall while you
