Handloom And Handicrafts Exhibition

The Artisans Welfare Trust organises Expo-2008 till December 20, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., at the Corporation Community Hall, C. P. Ramaswamy Road, Alwarpet. Handicrafts and handlooms from different parts of the country have been brought under one roof. The display includes brassware, miniature paintings, gemstones, ceramics, khadi yardage, black metal ware from Hyderabad, temple jewellery and stone jewellery from Jaipur, and also furniture. The special attractions are terracotta pots from Rajasthan, West Bengal and Haryana.
