Nagari Trek – Day Trip

This trek is for whom nature means a lot and enjoy walking or climbing…… on rough terrains. This could be one of the best treks you could experience, and the best part is, it is very close to the city. This place is about 80 km from the city and will take just about two hours to reach there. Nagari Hill Range borders Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh blessed with natural spring water. The trek in the hills is truly breathtaking with the stream flowing alongside. Food served would be sumptuous cooked traditional, through open wood fire.

Suggested itinerary:

  • 0600 hrs – Departure from Chennai & travel on the Kolkatta highway
  • 0800 hrs – Arrival at the Village (TP Kotta) & short walk (30 Min) or Tractor ride (10 Min) to the base camp site (followed by breakfast at the base camp
  • 1000 hrs – Trek to the mid-way point (1 hr medium trek)
  • 1100 hrs – Camp at mid-way point followed by outdoor activities
  • 1100 hrs to 1300 hrs – Experience the flowing stream with natural Jacuzzis and minor waterfalls
  • 1300 hrs – Lunch at the camp at mid-way point
  • 1530 hrs – Tea with biscuits
  • 1600 hrs – Trek back to the village
  • 1800 hrs – Arrival at the village & departure to Chennai
  • 2000 hrs – Arrival at Chennai

Food provided:

  • Breakfast (Pongal or Uppama with Chutney, Pickle & tea)
  • Lunch (Plain rice, Sambar, Veg curry, Pickle, Papad & sweet or fruit)
  • Tea/coffee (Evening)

Package cost: Rs. 1200/- Per head (with a minimum guarantee of 30 Pax)
