On the Waterfront by Elia Kazan

On Friday 28th June 2009, there is going to be a special screening of On The Waterfront
directed by Elia Kazan with a galaxy of stars like Marlon Brando, Karl Maldon, Lee J Cobb which
Won 8 Oscars and Another 16 wins & 7 nominations as part of Karl Maldon Retrospective
in association with the US Consulate, Chennai, at the South Indian Film Chamber

Film Festival on Human Rights at The Alliance Française

The following film is the concluding part of the Festival On Human Rights. It will be screened at
AFM Auditorium on Thursday, 27th August 2009, at 6.30 pm

At the International Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, one woman fights for justice and the
extradition of the last remaining war criminals – wartime leaders of Bosnian Serbs – on the run.
Her name is Carla Del Ponte, the Swiss-born, chain-smoking chief prosecutor.
