Summer Camp for Kids

1. Theatre Workshop from Evam

This acting-theatre work shop will concentrate on the basics of of a stage production – involving
ac ting, sound and lights and backstage activities. It will be held between May 8-10 between 6.30
pm and 9.30 pm on May 8 and 9 am to 6 pm on the other days. Including lunch, the cost is

2. Masquerade’s Camp for Actors

Masquerade’s Camp Neuve is organizing a workshop involving c reative dramatics, story
performance, public speaking and debate for those aged between 12 and 19. The camp will be
held from May 4 till May 22, between 10 am and 1 pm, excluding weekends. It will be conduc ted
by Krishna Kumar of Masquerade. It will lead to a s tage produc tion in September. The cost of the
work-shop is Rs.2500.

3. Summer Camp at Dakshina Chitra

Dakshina Chitra is organizing a summer camp for kids. There are two camps – the Residential
Camp and a One Day Activity Camp. The One Day Activity Camp will be held on April 25th and the
ac tivities include guided tour of Dakshina Chitra, pottery, table mat weaving, T-shirt painting,
theatre art, treasure hunt and more. The fee is Rs.500/- per kid which includes lunch, snacks,

4. Winkles Children

Winkles Children is an activity centre for kids. It is conducting a 10 day summer camp for children
in the age group of 5 years to 15 years. They have batches on May 11th and May 25th. The camp is
from 10.00 Am to 12.00 Pm. The focus of the camp is arts and craft, magic shows, calligraphy,

7. A Summer Camp for Pre-Teens and Teens

As an individual grows and passes through the adolescent stage the identity is formed. This is a
very c rucial period for shaping up ones personality which primarily decides ones success in life.
This is the period for developing self confidence and sharpening interpersonal skills, thus
discovering their s trengths to pursue meaningful goals in life.

NISS is conduc ting Summer Camp for children in the age group of 11 to 17 years focusing on
Personality Development. The Camp is based on experiential learning methodology which
would include Experimental Learning, Presentations & Group Discussions, Role Plays, Structured
Exercises, Learn-o-Games, Personality Assessment & Interventions and Neuro-Linguistic
Programming. It involves highly interactive sessions with good blend of fun and self exploration.

batch has started from 6th April to 22nd April, 2nd batch starts from 23rd April to 9th May and the
3rd batch starts from 11th May to 27th May. Timing is from 7.00 am to 9.00 am in the morning
and 4.00 pm to 6.00 pm in the evening. It is a one hour coaching. Age group is from 5 years and

9. Table Tennis and Chess Camp

TVR Children Club is conduc ting a summer camp on table tennis and chess. Table tennis is for the
age group of children from 7 to 15 years. The coaching is given by Mr.G.Anand. Fee is Rs.900/-
per head. Camp is till 30th May 7.00 am to 4.00 pm. C amp for Chess is conducted till 23rd May

Chennai Flower Show 2009

Life Style T rade Fairs is organising Chennai Flower Show 2009 which includes Ocean Life and

Raasi Art Foundation

Raasi Art Foundation is having a summer art show, a sale of art works in kalamkari, Kerala
