Pattachitra Work shop for Adults

DakshinaChitra, the Heritage centre to promote the crafts of South India is organizing a day Workshop on Pattachitra on canvas for adults on 5th & 6th December 2009. The Pattachitra style of painting is one of the oldest and most popular art forms of Orissa. Pattachitra is a painting done on canvas, and is manifested by rich colourful application, creative motifs and designs, and portrayal of simple themes, mostly mythological in depiction. Conveyance to and from DakshinaChitra, will be provided from MCF office, Besant Nagar.

The workshop fee is Rs. 1000/- Inclusive of materials, transport and refreshments.
