3 Nights / 4 Days Package to Wayanad

Wayanad has the diversified sightseeing in Heritage, Nature and Wildlife. It is home to two major
wildlife reserves: Muthanga and Tholpetty. Taken together, these two sanctuaries are home to an
incredible range of flora and fauna, including several endangered species. As part of the Western
Ghats, they constitute an important swathe of the last surviving tracts of unique ecosystem. Being
at a higher altitude, the weather is mild most part of the year and there are several places to visit
and enjoy in this palce. With vast areas still unexplored, Wayanad is truly an adventurer’s
paradise waiting to be discovered!

Tour Itinerary – 03 Nights & 04 Days package

Day 01

Arrive in Calicut from Chennai. Pick up & Transfer to Hotel in Wayanad. Check in. Relax
for an hour. Have lunch at leisure. After lunch leave for Pookot lake. Pookot lake is a
natural fresh water lake surrounded with ever green mountains. Boating facilities are
also available here. Return to the hotel in the evening, have dinner & retire for the
night.

Day 02

After breakfast, leave for Edakkal caves with packed lunch. Edakkal caves are
Prehistoric caves. It is a soft trekking. After Edakkal caves drive down to Soochippara
Waterfall. Soochippara Waterfall is a 3 tier powerful waterfall situated in the dense
equatorial forest of Wayanad. The cliff face here is ideal for rock climbing. Return to
hotel in the evening. Have dinner and retire for the night.

Day 03

After breakfast, leave for Kuruwa Dweep. Kuruwa island is 955 acres of green forest on
the tributaries of the east flowing river Kabani. The island is an uninhabited and a
paradise with myriad birds. Have packed lunch, relax for an hour then proceed to
Tholpetty Wild life sanctuary. You can find here spotted deer, elephants, bison,
leopard, tiger…etc. It is 25 kms. drive inside the sanctuary exploring wildlife and return
to the hotel in the evening, have dinner and retire for the night.

Day 04

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Calicut for your onward journey to
Chennai.
Tour Cost: Rs.15000/- per couple

All accommodation on twin sharing basis with breakfast and dinner.
